Meet the Speaker

Jason Ortman, OD

Dr. Ortman is the owner of Black Diamond Eye Care in Castle Pines, Colorado. A graduate of Indiana University and The Ohio State University College of Optometry, he completed a residency in ocular disease at the New Mexico VA Medical Center. He specializes in primary eye care, specialty contact lenses, myopia management, and ocular disease. Dr. Ortman has provided eye care globally through nonprofit missions and served in leadership roles with the Colorado and American Optometric Associations, earning multiple honors including the AOA Payor Advocacy Award and Colorado Young Optometrist of the Year.

This is a complimentary event.  There is no cost to doctor-owners and their staff members.  

Registration is open to all doctor-owners and staff members from each practice who coordinate benefits when billing VSP. Each attendee should register separately.    

VSP 101: Successful Implementation of VSP Contact Lens Programs, including Visually Necessary lenses, will provide actionable insights and key takeaways that you and your staff can immediately implement in your practice to increase revenue opportunities, patient retention, and patient satisfaction.  

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for complimentary dinner and networking time with fellow attendees. The workshop runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 

The goal of this workshop is to provide you and your staff with helpful resources to make it easier to run your practices and work with VSP.
